dude I did everything you did but when I select the 3.40 OE-A Update Maker it says “This game cannot be started the data is corrupted” can you help me on that?
BEWARE!, I used this and it fucked my memstick and basically rendered my PSP useless until I took it out to format it again through my PC. Don’t use his link, google it instead and get it from another site.

lol its to copy all the files you have in your memory stick to your computer so you can format your memory stick and you will not lose any data

i have firmware 4.05
i got the file in my memory stick (game)
for update 2.71
(from 2.71 i go to 1.5)
but
when i wanna start update 2.71 it says
The system software of your PSP
system is version 4.05.
There is no need to update.
