What if you already have firmware 3.71…?
Once you go past Ofw 5.03 you cannot use this method to downgrade. You will have to use a Pandora from there on; If your psp is pandorable.

hey i did everything exactly as you said when you were on the desktop but when i got into my game folder of the psp after i took it out of usb mode it says that the data cannot start it is corrupted what do i do?

you suppose to start this from RECOVERY MODE by holding R when turning your psp on.(First turn your psp off completely by holding the turn on for a while).
