How do I clean a PSP UMD?

   There are little contraptions you can buy that clean the discs for you now if you are feeling the economic pinch like everyone else and would like now to waste 40 bucks for something you can do for much cheaper, then… Get: Cotton pads(not balls, the ball leave cotton fibers on the disc) or q-tips, and rubbing alcohol. With the silver bottom side of the UMD facing up rub the alcohol saturated cotton medium on the disc through the open section of the casing, (you will want to wash your hands before you do this to remove any excess oil from your hands). you will need to rotate the disk with you finger to be able to clean every part of the discs surface. let the alcohol dry off and there you have a clean disc. This also works with cds, dvds, bluray, laser lenses, 8 track, records, hddvd, oily skin, permanent maker on non porous surfaces, VHS, cassette tapes, etc… good luck

   some umds pop apart and u can remove the disc and clean it and snap it back together
