How do i make my psp slim (custom firmware 3.71 m33-2) run things like: PSPlorer, Updates, etc?
I just installed custom firmware on my mates psp slim and when i go to update it it says: This game cannot be started. The region code is not correct. And when i put a umd in it says: The UMD cannot be read. But when it didn't have custom firmware it could run updates and UMD's. Ive tryed to install Offical Firmware on it but the region code error pops up.

Shutdown and hold R,
At Back up menu (m33 only)
Then change the region to USA , Japan, Or Europe
Then you are done

What region is the psp on. Go in the recovery mode(holing on while turning on the psp) and check for fake region, set it to disable or set it to the region of the update/game u hav.
