Is it safe to switch off psp while the umd is running?
you see many times i would have to go when i am in an important mission in the game or in a cool/crucial part of it….and there’s some time till i reach the next checkpoint. so, at such times i would have to quit the game and switch off the psp. my friend told me that it isn’t safe, but i had tried it a few times (before he had told) and it was all fine. but still i wanna clarify. and, would there be any long term changes?

yes, if you turn it off while you play the game it will just practically pause it. if you play infrastructure then you will be cut off from the internet. if its just you on your umd then yes..when you turn it on the game will continue just where you had left it…
yes just push up fast to put psp to sleep
DO NOT PUSH UP AND HOLD! it will make ur psp turn off.
also do not put psp to sleep WHILE THE GAME LOADING, doing so can freeze the game and you have to quit the game
Yes. If you just click it lightly, it will put your PSP to sleep mode. Its ok unless your loading, downloading,or connecting.
