Newest Update for phat PSP CFW 4.01 M33-2
i had mine updated from 3.90 m33-2 to 4.01 m33-2. it was easy since it was directly from the network update so no messing around.

no mine is 5.00 m33-6 and its a phat psp (1st gen/ p1000) and the 5.03 is for p3000 i think which is on the newer psp. which version of psp do u have?
so if your psp version is on 5.03 will it still work that my psp version

change the name eboot.pbp to 401.pbp.
you just have to go into recovery mode, than usb mode and now on your computer screen it should pop up a screen showing the psp memory. Than you replace on of the old load screen with a new one
i dont remember if u can but i u should have no problem since its on cfw and since u have already have a cfw on it, it wouldnt have a problem =/ check it with someone else cuz i might be wrong so do it at ur own risk

did u shut down completely cuz it should have work since it work on ur 3.71 m33-2 try again and c if it does then mayb there is a bug on urs then an update might fix?
