Playing .ISO games on PSP without a UMD [tutorial]
A lot of people have been asking the same question on other peoples videos so I thought I’d make this to try and help explain. WHAT IS AN ISO?! An .iso is a disc image file. It stores all the information from a disc and can be used to run a virtual drive, allowing people to run CD’s from your hard disks without actually having the CD in. It’s the same principal for PSP iso emulation. You’ll need a custom firmware installed for this to work. I recommend at least 3.71 m33 and above, mine is …

hey dude help i have psp 3000 but i have the firware 5.50 i can t find a custome firware pl help me find ojn
thanks your the best i am happy now lol
Unless somethings been release that I haven’t seen, there isn’t a way. The PSP 3000 motherboard works in a different way, it doesn’t boot up the same so you can’t use its “service” functions to install firmware through pandora.. There was a “homebrew enabler” for PSP that apparently let you run and install firmware without modded PSP’s but I haven’t used it myself..
google “PSP chickHEN homebrew”
mr. dxnation
how about psp 3000
i’m waiting for someone who can tell me how to play iso games on psp 3000
can u research about it??
then tell me how to do it
tnx..
(//_^)
My games used to show up in the games section but now they disappeared! It is inside the memory stick but they don’t want to show up. I have to wait 30 minutes for memory stick to respond to show the games. What is the problem?
i have a iso image format psp game that wont play can you help me its a psp game
haha no problem
i love youuuu soooooo much. GOD BLESS U !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
ive been trying to work this for ages
with a memory card and a pandora battery.
but i have a problem how do i put the firmwal?
PSP m33
were do u need the firmwall on ur psp or computer
I’m not sure I know what you mean…
if you make an iso file its not built into the psp how will that download games?
I have my iso folders in a folder called iso and the game i put on my ms and it doesn’t show up in xmb game
Using chickhen can instal CFW. just not on the psp 3000
jak ty wyglądasz idź do fryzjera bo żal mi się Ciebie naprawdę robi :-]
yes but while you run it in ram…. you can install other cfw like m33…
i installed homebrew on my psp the same way
yep
can you do all this if you have a higher custom firmware? ive got 5.0 m33
I don’t use websites, I find them unreliable and rather rubbish.
That doesn’t give you cfw, it apparently enables you to run *some* homebrew applications but thats extremely limited due to the fact it runs in the RAM of the PSP, which isn’t all that great to begin with!
[What it does not do?]
- Run ISO, CSO or any other form of UMD backup.
- Run PSX Games
- Touch The Flash of your beloved PSP
- Magically allow the use of Custom Firmware (on TA-088v3 or PSP 3000)
- Load plugins
Taken from their official site.
what site do you get your ISOs
yes you can get cfw without pandora with chickHen!!!!
google it
