I consider this to be the easiest way to play genesis games on your psp. My psp is hacked firmware 3.52 m33. So you need Custom Firmware to get this to work. I’m also using the karnel addon 1.50. Enable the Video Annotations for this video. If you have any questions do not hesitate to ask. Also don’t hold me responsible if your psp becoms bricked (Which I doubt) This is for Phat it does not work on Slim
You can now play/use homebrews on your psp 3000 thanks to the new exploit chickhen R2 which alows you to play homebrews and other applications such as psptube, irshell, emulators, etc but you are unable to play iso, cso, etc If you are unable to get chickhen working try restoring the default settings to your psp. This is a video of a custom version of fmsx PSP (originally made by some Japanese guy) I made two years ago. A short demonstration of Space Manbow is shown. On the left side of the screen, some debug info you can’t read is shown (framerate, frameskip, screen mode and some audio info). Some changes I made: -English translation -Graphics rendering done by the GPU -Various speed improvements -Small bugfixes, don’t know the specifics anymore 
I’m not going to release this version, it’s too much work and there are better alternatives.
I have Snes9x 0.4.2 and it’s awesome! This video shows what you can do with this emulator. I have 5.00 m33-6 CFW and it works PERFECTLY on my PSP1000.
