This video shows a psp slim running ” Lego Batman” via a FS monitor for video output. More Lego! this time around we find Batman gets the treatment with the 30 y/old little plastic bricks. All the the nasty batman foes seem to be in game, including the joker, mr freeze, catwoman, penguin ect. first impressions seem to indicate that Lego Batman is a well polished game and if you like previous Lego psp game releases, then you will love this one. The Graphics are solid enough, then lego games are not that amazing graphically are they? The enviroments are rate fair/good and offer the gotham city dark touch. Sound is good, with plenty of decent background music and the usual batman thwacks and pows, with your foes screaming as you pow your way through the waves of plastic fist fodder. Gadgets are aplenty in Lego batman, you get different suits to change into, each offering different gadgetry. As usual, you can switch, from different hero and play as robin and access his gadgets. Only played the first 2 levels but seems good enough to warrant a serious look, it’s certainly no joker. 8.0/10 rated.
This video shows a psp slim running “Ben 10: Alien Force” via a FS monitor for video output. Good cartoon graphic styled platform/adventure. I actually like this, I dont know much about Ben 10 but this game deserves a little praise, as it seems pretty good. The graphics of ben 10: Alien force are obviously based around the cartoon series and are done quite well, although rather simple background drops are used, the main characters are represented rather well and decently animated. Sound is good, with plenty of fast paced action music. Character voices seem well organised and add to the cartoon theme. SFX are done well enough and get the job done. Gameplay is essentially beat-em up based, with collecting elements for upgrades and adding locked alien characters. The gameplay is broken up with platform type game elements. Controls are fast and responsive, if you can remember all the combo moves for each character, that is. A good cartoon action adventure quest, that will have your psp’s buttons bashing away furiously. 7.7 Rated
