Classic Game Room HD reviews PERSONA 3 for Sony PSP from Atlus. Part of the Shin Megami Tensei series, Persona 3 is like Dark City meets dark anime, a trippy tale about the Lost Hour, Shadows and Evokers that bring out the Personas in teens fighting for the future or something… Persona 3 was originally released for the Playstation 2 PS2 in 2006 in Japan and 2007 in North America. This version on the PSP has a new female lead character (in addition to the regular male character) that has some additional plot elements. Fuse personas (aka Demons from the other SMT games) into more powerful personas which act as magic spells and weapons in turn based combat. Persona 3 is a JRPG (Japanese style role playing game) dripping with that unique Shin Megami Tensei style which masks its turn based, dungeon crawling heart.
